Design is not just what it looks and feels like.
Design is how it works.
As a UX designer, I make sure that the end users interests and the business requirements are aligned and translated into an awesome experience.
As a Scrum master, I make sure the team will perform in an optimal way to achieve our goals.
Discover the user, their processes and needs using techniques such as contextual inquiry, mind mapping, focus groups and card sorting. I translate the target group into personas and their user processes into customer journeys.
On the other hand, I help the business to get a clear focus on what they want to achieve. I'll getter important knowledge and manage the company stakeholders by making Design Sprints a part of the design process. I help Product Owners to formulate the product vision and the roadmap. After defining business requirements and user needs I translate these into design principles, sketches & hi fidelity prototypes. This will be validated with users and all stakeholders. Even after development I never settle and keep improving.
For me User Centerd Design is the only proper way. User behaviour tells us what problems we need to solvde. Lean validation shows us if the concepts we created are the way to go.
UX design can help your company in many ways.
A match: If you find that specific user need to for fill it, you are creating the right value for the user and business.
Get them happy: If the user can easily do what they came to do, and even get surprised by offering more than necessary they will have an awesome experience and are willing to come back.
Reduce development costs: If you are testing your assumptions in an early stage with prototypes you don’t have to build it yet to know if it will succeed.
Increase conversion: If the user find their way around it will be more effective at selling your products and therefore will increase your sales.
Business focus on customer needs: With the insights from the research you will understand your customers opinions and needs even more. Everyone in the business will be able to make better business decisions that are more in line with your customers needs.
In order to make the right design decisions we want to know our users and their needs. Available persona’s where outdated, valuable insights are ‘stuck’ inside reports, time-consuming to gather and there is no ‘single source of truth’. Based on research we created improved baseline persona's.
With the NOS 360 multi angle experience we let the Dutch audience take control and relive the moments that matter. In a sports event as the World Cup where interesting technologies like the VAR come in play we offer the users a new innovative experience where they can see more than on TV. This project could be admired on TV, Web and App.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to show all cases on my portfolio. If you are interested in other cases please contact me.
